i asume you have no exhaust out the back??

(its rerouted to the intake maybe)

otherwise thay must have seriously bashed the exhaust.

lol. You guys.
1. Very scary (I let off a bit but she kept going, so i back out quick)
2. exhaust is right up in the rear bumper (it was 1cm from the ground)
3. car was all good we ran the rest of the day without the launch control and finished 2nd in the street class.

that wheelie run was a 1.5 60' I have no idea if that was the back wheels tho!

Then we had a 1.4 60' in the final!

Yeah, just grabbed it from Youtube. I can do better if you can get the original to me?

I've watched it a couple of dozen times today - I can't tell you how impressed I am!

Thanks mate.

I have to convert it from HD to mpeg2. I had a go at taking a pic from the mpeg2 but it was the same quality as yours. Can you take it from a HD file?

I cannot even begin to imagine how you felt when that happened, talk about suprises! I think you did well to get it back, it went up at a steep incline pretty damn quickly!

Also - as someone else mentioned, how come Nathes didnt do this as badly?

I'm probably wrong but the border bonnet & rad relocation will help with that. It's designed to keep the front end down...

its all down to suspension setup and tyre pressure.

Im trying to figure this out myself too. I think its the initial 'hook' that Roy gets that causes this - on my run I gather momentum then it starts to pull up whereas Roy's just goes vertical - like something out of a cartoon
I'm not sure what Roy's best 60ft was? I managed a 1.43 on my final run which is right up there, dont know is a 1.3 is even possible in an MR2 :?:

I guess alot of it is in suspension setup and I wonder if some of it is to do with launch control :?:

Either way its a bloody good wheelie, something to be proud of!

Roy - just a quick question, how old are those tyres? Reason for asking is I remember Andy from AET saying that Micky T had brought out a new street radial that was ALOT better than the older ones, this was when I spoke with him at the Autosport last year.... I never had anything like that traction with my tires, not even close!

Nath. I this these are 8 months old. They came from Lee. I will be getting some more. That run with the wheelie was a 1.5 but as we know I back out.
I ran a 1.4 later without the launch control.

I think running the launch where it was set with some weight at the front should see me run a 1.3. :D

I'm running the race logic launch and you are running the link?
Nath are you running flat shift? I'm gonna put some on mine.
