Welcome to the forum
As long as it's failry standard and you keep it regularly serviced then it should hopefully serve you well

Re: newbie
cool cheers mate ,, not sure of the service history ,, was imported in 03 ,, a few question gonna do a mini service on her ,, wot the best oil and oil filter to use them ,, and spark plugs any surgestions
Re: newbie
wicked its worked here she is ,, arrives tomorrow
Re: newbie
Very nice. Looks like you have a few goodies on her.
I use Millers Fully Synth 10w 40 and for the filter go for one of the genuine toyota ones
Because it's a tubby and if your not sure when the last servicable parts were changed then it wouldn't harm to get a new dizzy and rotor arm along with some spark plugs. I've got the ngk grade 7 colder spark plugs which are always recommended if the car has been slightly tuned/ boost increased.

Re: newbie
sweet cheers mate ,, sorry mate for the questions there a gd supplier u know of that's reasonable,, lol if there's such a place, they easy to fit aswell the dizzy cap and rotor arm bit of a car novice here but willing lol cheers
Re: newbie
for the dizzy cap and rotor arm try camskill, i found them the cheapest so far. For the oil the only failry priced place is rallye design but the do charge ridiculous carriage fee of £10! I couldn't find it anywhere else though.
Re: newbie
cool will check it out ,, quite lucky the local parts places stocks miller oils so will check tomorrow cheers for the help fella
Re: newbie
No prob. Just make sure you get the fully synthetic. Some people do run the semi synthetic on here but you need to change the oil more often (every 3k or so). Generally with fully synthetic (this i my opinion and people have many different views on this! ) i would say you should change it around the 6-8k mark along with a filter change.
Re: newbie
she arrived today and she lush ,, got a few things to do to get her through mot ,,, any where i can find a step by step instructions to change the off side rear bottom ball joint ,, and off side rear hand brake cable ,, and i to change the off side rear calliper ,, find a few recon ones on ebay ,,
found a few modes on her apex induction and something mounted on the dash lol turn the key off and out and she still runs until u press the button ,, sorry new to this any idea wot its is ??

Re: newbie
That would prob be a turbo timer. Lets the turbo cool down after a good thrashing
Re: newbie

Re: newbie
The boost controller, you may be able to work out yourself but if in doubt i would try and get it done by someone who may have more of an idea (not saying you don't of course!)
Was the boost controller hidden by any chance? As i've heard some of the Japs hide mods and trick bits before they put them into the auction to try and get the higest grade possible
