Got my 17" Rota torque drift's fitted today, they're staggered 8" on the front et35 and 9" on the rear et30
running Kuhmo ecsta tyres 215's front & 235's rear 40 profile gives a nice stretched look.
I like the rims Time for a little drop on the suspension though Also, stretched look is good for euro boxes.....Not Jap cars
I have the same prob on mine at the front though I can't get the right size tyres to clear my struts.
Have'nt had any scrub yet at all, i thought the fronts were gonna scrub on full lock but we checked it out lock to lock on the ramps and on the ground after fitting had good clerance all round
the rears look like they could contact the arch just y'know, but i think the 235 40 tyres on the rear roll away inwards with a bit of a stretch.
i think any wider tyres and it'd need an arch roll.
this staggered combo can be had from driftworks for £510 (wheels only)
thats a chuffin bargain
rims look sweet ive been running on Kuhmo ecsta tyres for almost a year now , for a budget tyre i think they are really good . i find them good in the wet also
i did see a thread a while back about rota's breaking up, someone posted some pics of a few wheels that had the spokes breakaway from the rims, etc,
have'nt seen any bad press on the GTR's, Torques or slipstreams yet though.
cost was the deciding factor for me, could'nt justify 800-1k on wheels at the mo. A tad over 500 for staggered 8's & 9's jdm rims was too good to resist
saw these in the flesh the other day, utterly lovely.
Unknown to Mark i will be stealing them
Offsets are perfect and he did really well on the price
nice one mate
