Dave
Two ways i would do this.

Check with Surrey Rolling Road if they would accept cheques. Then, if they do, request a £10 deposit from everyone who wants to go and ask them to make the cheque out to Surrey Rolling Road. Any members who dont show lose the deposit. Members who do show then pay the balance on the day.

If they dont accept cheques, then get the £10 made out to yourself. Cash the cheques into your own bank account, and then on the day withdraw the cash and use it as part payment on the day. Any members who dont show lose that deposit. Members who do show pay the balance on the day.

Other possible option if SRR dont take cheques is to see if they would take a credit/ debit card deposit over the phone?

Well I'm easy, I don't mind sending a cheque directly to you Dave/SRR, or gifting some money through paypal(does this definitely work??). Let me know :thumleft:

Little update,
just had mail from charlie

Hi Dave,

Best way to do it is if you take a £15 deposit off everyone then give that
to me on a debit card on the day

Regards,

Charlie

so from this point, if everyone is happy with it i will take a 15 pound deposit for the day, then on the day you will pay the difference.
Ill post more definate info up later when i get home etc.

Any probs or concerns please feel free to mail me :thumleft:

Payment details added guys,
I have made last payment date the 9th, this then enables me to transfer the money from paypal to my account ready to be drawn for the 18th.

If you can send all money as a gift then you will not be charged through paypal etc.
In the meantime spread the word and lets make this a big one :thumleft:

Again any probs feel free to mail me

Dont forget to ask for a little extra if paying via paypal as you will lose some of it in fees and you dont want to be out of pocket.

Not if you mark it 'Payment Owed' or 'Gift'. Under £15 IIRC its free of charge.
