It's as good as it is going to get  Spent another couple of hours on it.

The boot mount is already tried and tested on another extremely fast MR2. It does work :thumleft:

Cut that old RSR up Gee man. I reckon a 3" would be quiet enough for road use  Just depends if you can stand the noise in the car with it being right behind your head

Steve is gunna send me some clear indicators so I'll bob them in and see how they look.

Dunt look too bad that Harry :thumleft: I am considering a carbon rear end. Just wish someone did a stock turbo carbon engine cover

Mine is seriously loud!! However it is a 4" straight through pipe  I reckon if you fit a 3" system with a decent box, it would be OK. I had to have the thermostat outlet pipe modified to fit the 4" jobby so you might have to do the same for a 3" :-k

jesus does it not have any silencing!!!???I guess its 3" out of the turbo a little bit..then expanded to 4"...(id do the same so its as free flowing as possible)the only problem i can see is getting a silencer with a 4" internal bore...(other than an burns stainless jobby that cost bucks..)...thermostat would be fine for mine as i have top mount manifold...

It has a slight silencer on it. I got it from summitracing.com They are uber cheap. I had a fitting turned to bolt straight onto the turbo straight to 4". Plenty of flow :thumleft: But very loud!!!!

I hate to imagine how loud that must be - I registered 112db at TOTB last year and I have a mamouth silencer compared to your!

Looking good mate, have you had it mapped yet?

Our cars can be twins @ TOTB

Trying to arrange mapping early next week. It is awfully loud. Might have to change the can at some point. Yep, twins would be good......10.4 would make me right happy

Top car, ruined by the veilside rear bumper. It just doesn't go with the smooth border kit to be fair.

The blocks of wood like bits for the stock bumper just do not appeal to me. It's the only bit of the border kit I just do not get. Thats why left the Veilside one. Plus it looks awesome from the rear :thumleft:

I agree you mate when they're glued on, but when smoothed into the bumper they look amazing

I like the vielside bottom, bit different and works well in white.

I thought Chris would have done this already but here goes.....
First run just a tester car did 500bhp@the wheels, the walbro fuel pump started to struggle at 545ish so called it a draw at that..
All in all a very good day with no issues at all on the dyno, more to come :thumleft:
All at 2 bar boost BTW

Cheers Andy. Can I just say another big thanks for trailering it down for me :thumleft: If anyone needs there car taking for mapping, Andy is the man :D .

Really pleased with the results :thumleft: Prefer the flywheel figure of 635bhp though \:D/ Not bad for a stock head

Intercooler worked perfectly. Charge temps even in yesturdays uber hot weather never rose above 26 degrees!! Huge bootmount is the way forwards
