[Mk2] [NA] please help management light

Post by dpbayly »

ive got the management light on i have a NA on a 99v 3S GE engine the light comes on about 10 secs after start up and the idle is a bit high and slightly erratic, when your driving along at say 30mph and your just hovering on the throttle the car seems to not be very smooth in as much the power is either on or off so its jolting, any way i read the fault codes and it came up with code 33 ISCV meter (idle speed control valve) so i after looking through a few threads i changed it with no change so i also changed the TPS (throttle position sensor) again still no change has anyone any ideas as i cant keep splashing money out on expensive switches any help would be appreciated

Air in the coolant can give you a high idle try bleeding the system :thumleft:
O and reset the ecu once youve done that see if it throws the error code up again
