You have gotta be shi%%ing me! I thought of this as an idea as soon as guitar hero came out. Not looked at your link but my idea was a pair of spinning (or touch sensitive) disks so you can mix like there's vinyl on them.

The controller for Scratch looks better by far, I just hope that the game is as well.

For once I will be able to take the high road on this seeing as I was well into bedroom DJ'ing for years and still have all my old gear at home :thumleft:

So all those times people said "GH is stupid, it's not like the real thing" in that condescending tone wont be able to use it on me with DJ Hero

Does mean you can knock out some proper good Linkin Park tracks with the whole band pack. :thumleft:

I was hoping for one that had a fake record spinning with proper pitch controls to change the speed so you can properly DJ.
If they can do it with a CD Deck then they can do it for this.
Mixing isnt hard once you "get it" IMO.

I still think that Scratch: Ultimate DJ should be far closer to the real thing...

Yes, that's a genuine Numark peripheral with crossfader built in. Nice. 8)

Just buy one of these;

Far more fun and you can mix your own songs too. Although having said that it isn't that great for scratching! :-k

Sorry but no. What is that shitty little thing?

If you're going to do it properly there is only one way.

Good!

I love my Xbox and Guitar Hero but it'll never replace the real thing. Same with DJ Hero. It'll be fun and I will more than likely buy into it. But certainly wont touch the real thing.
Neither do CD or MP3 decks.

Sadly MP3 and downloading has all but killed real DJ'ing.

what records do you play then ? , I'm an old skool raver at heart , I like my 90's jungle/dnb and some old skool garage aswell it'll make my day if dj hero has some of that in the game.

As it is I dont play anything as I have no where to put my decks
They're all packed away in the cupboard waiting for my own gaff so I can have them out.

I have a mixture of oldschool garage, 2 step, funky house, euphoric house, some DnB etc.

IIRC I have about 300 records that cost me a xxxx load of money but are now worthless as any one can download any of them for free.
