i have this exhaust fitted to rev3 tubby with downpipe :D

Had it tested at about 98db (98.8 i think....) for a trackday at bedford. It was ok (just) for their very strict drive by limit too..... well it was until the downpipe to turbo gasket started to blow and they threw me off......... 3 of the 6 fixing nuts came off i later found out! #-o

I saw jonb's (I think) trackcar up at lukes on thursday and he had a Dep2 pro on his car.

Anyone else running a Fujitsubo RM01A? It's meant to be a bit noisier than the Legalis R but is also Jasma certified so it's not stupid loud.

Good point. I'll give Jon a shout and see if he's ever had any trouble. :thumleft:

Yes, they do custom systems, but they also have a basic pattern for an MR2 (from when Ben F had his done many moons ago) - I bought mine in an IMOC group-buy, all of us got trackday friendly exhausts, we just chose which tips we wanted. One guy came along afterwards and specified smaller silencers (for a louder bark) but that was a deviation from their usual pattern.
If you go in there and ask for an MR2 turbo exhaust based on their standard pattern, it will be trackday friendly. So IMO it's perfectly fine for H&S to be on the list.

Been on brands with a Motoria Japspeed before without a Cat and it passed ok. I changed to a Berk now which is quieter so that would defo be allowed on track too imo.

I would wager that a buddyclub is far far too loud to go on a track! I'll see if I can measure it at the weekend but it's absolutely ludicrous.

JASMA pass level is 98dB IIRC. Not sure how they measure it though - presumably on a completely stock car, no decat etc.

I have a blueflame (with cat) on mine and to be honest it's not much louder than stock, just has more of a rumble. I would imagine it would pass easily as its pretty much the same as the mongoose.
