Timing using PFC

Post by Ja99a »

Anyone know how to set my base ignition timing using a Apexi PFC?
I am running a AP engineering REV2 unit.

Also how do I turn of the ignition timing control so I get static RPM's?

Help

I think you would check/set it in the same way as with a standard ecu, the only issue is as you say getting static rpms. So timing gun, down the side of the cam cover to see the marks on the crank pully, then turn the dizzy till you're at the correct setting (Is it 10degs btdc?)

edit; my bad, looks like it is different with the pfc. .sorry!
