SCs and SEs had diamond cut teardrops... no other wheels were fitted as standard. Of course dealers may have offered other wheel packages.

I have an American brochure which shows pictures of various different "Enkei" wheels - am sure this wouldnt of been produced just for one dealership?

Those "enkei" wheels are 14" and were a "port-option" in the USA. They were fitted on arrivel in the USA before going to the dealers.

@Tony: nice wheels, look great on the car ;)

Ive done a huge search for Enkei and the only alloys i see are Modern looking ones & none of them look like my Alloy's. I think the original manufactureres were 'RW' but cant find anything definate on those either, were they bought out by a larger company i wonder ??, anyone know, cheers, Jinxy

http://www.rwclassics.com/wheels-selection.html
theres this us one called rw classics
but if you type rw alloy wheels into google you also get references to BBS rw which confirms what I thought that they are BBS cross spokes or a replica of them
they are also very similar to these Ronal LS
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-E30-M3-ACT-RO ... dZViewItem

so they could be an RW copy of Ronal LS which are themselves a copy of BBS cross spokes.

Cleared that up :? :?

Have to say Jinxy that your wheels aren't my cup of tea but I do appreciate the work that must have gone into them and if you like them then what the heck.

I saw an interesting paint job on the old triangle wheels recently and I'm kicking myself for not keeping a copy of the photo. But basically they had been blacked out around the rim and the slotted holes which made the triangle more prominent. If anyone else has seen them or has a pic. then post it up here please.

Haha, oh my god, what are the odds of this? I fell in love with "For the kill" after hearing it on radio 1 last week. Bought it on amazon mp3 store and been listening to it since. Just been on to La Roux's Myspace, and saw Jinxy's avatar - he was commenting on a blog post. Came here to congratulate him on a good taste in choons... and find this thread! Small internet

The wheels aren't my cup of tea, I reckon they detract from the car.

Can appreciate the hard work though, I once did the same with some Alfa P4 alloys.
