new car

Post by ancient mariner »

evening all, after 4 months without an mr2 due to ill health,i realised i would rather put up with the dodgy joints and pain, than be without an mr2.so ended up doing a round trip of appx 400 miles to get my new car.spent today cleaning claybaring and polishing (only half done  )so thought i would put up a couple of photos.paul.

cheers rob, after traveling to so many so called minters over the years only to find the proverbial sacacacky,i was more than pleased with this one.
it was imported by Newra (spelling ?)in 2004 with full s/h from 1 owner,it has since had 2 uk owners, and has full history.my last tubby was a fully kitted one,and i must admit i think i prefer the clean lines of this one.to find one in this condition unmessed with, and with all the documentation, including appx 30 photos before it was imported, must be a bit of a rareity.so i'm well pleased.paul.

Heyup Paul, First of all I was shocked to hear that you had parted with your 2, as I've not been on the forum for quite a while...although I understand the health issue, I am still very very pleased to see you have a great machine back again and what a nice example \:D/
Some nice weather coming up now Paul, how about a run........
Nice one Paul :D
