tapping/ticking noise when accelerating

hi im new to imock, got a n/a 91 import
ive got a ticking/tapping noise coming from drivers side but only when the car has really warmed up!and when accelerating under load,wont do it when you rev car or reversing! had the car checked by peter a sbits who said not the engine! could maybe some part of the exhaust,which i had checked but they could'nt see anything obvious!
has anyone had this and found the cause?????
i really hate little noise!!

thanks could be,ive seen some post with the same kind ov problems but no one ever posted a fix!! seems to be common tho??

loose heat shields?
exhaust mounts?
rear brake dust shield touching the disk?
wheel bearing?
low brake pads with wear indicator touching the disks?

hey thanks,it only does it when car is really hot and driving in gear underload! and goes when car cools down!
