Got quite consistant 16.4's when the car was stock.

I remember the day :thumleft:

I also got a 16.2 but @ 84mph and that was also before it was stripped and in full road guise.

Our SC managed a 14.7 @ 91mph on the same day also fully loaded in road trim, but with an oversized crank pulley and large IC.

I also have to admit, whilst it was a fun day out and quite competitive between a few of us, twisty circuits are much more fun :thumleft:

Didn't Sy Taylor run Nos that day on an NA and got somethihg like late 14's early 15's?, not quite sc times. But then there was nisnos - a bloke with a very light (rusty) NA that ran 13's on nos, but car rotted away....

You should be seeing 120 at a fair fewer revs than that in 4th :thumleft:

like i said i was not looking for too long... trying to avoid some :gayfight: bikers...although there is a slight gradiant on the top end straight and I know the compression on cylinder 4 is slightly down.

Doing a trackday in april on the flat, so ill let you know what im getting at the top end of 4th :thumleft:

Stu has done 150mph (on the clock) in his 1.5 on the motorway in germany.
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

Yep, no chance whatsoever of achieving maximum speed, unless it's the Ring.

Jurby, Isle Of Man judging by the plates in the photos. It's an airfield with twoo 100-mph straights. But I don't think the AW11 will get over 85/90 there.

Still, you will have fun :thumleft:

i suppose high end speeds is a little optimistic :D

A friend said he was getting well over a 100 in his 106 rallye (with gti motor + rallye box) on one of the striaghts... and he was maxed out, bearing in mind the short ratio's

might be the top end of third then, thats around the 90 mark? 8)
