Man- the for sale section is becoming a freakin joke again....if you are breaking an engine to sell the bits then post once saying engine bits for sale...

Take a look at the MkII page just now- literally a whole page by one seller individually listing every freakin nut and bolt ](*,)

Why aren't there rules about this??

There are already rules in place that adequately cover this - cars being broken should be in the breaking section - as per my original post.

Sadly, however, a couple of selfish members are choosing to ignore the rules and spoil it for everyone and will continue to do until whoever moderates that section pulls their finger out.

The parts section is really starting to p*ss me off now. Surely a Moderator can just group all 500 individual items for sale from the same seller and put them into 1 thread. I'm sick of having to scroll through 2 or 3 pages of adds because of this and missing things that I actually want.
Please IMOC Committee sort this out, It can't look good to new members that join................

could there not be a limit of a certain amount of for sale posts per week?

as there seems to be like 100 a day at the minute its frustrating to dig through the mk2 section to like page 5 to find things

i don't think it needs that

If you have multiple engine parts for sale list them as

"Rev 2 3sgte engine parts for sale"

Or if your like swagandsway use the breakers forum instead of cluttering up the mk2 forum listing every single item,,

I think the lack of moderating is the real problem - dont see why offending posts cant be removed and transgressors warned leading to a ban if repeatedly ignored. very simple, very effective :-)

Agree with you guys it's an utter p1$$ take.

While the bits allegedly aren't from a 'breaker' so no rules are being broken as such cluttering up the for sale section with stuff that could & should go in one post is ridiculous. WTF would want to buy 2nd hand lightbulbs or knackered fog lamps FFS.

cant there be anything done about it . i.e make a new rule for it it just makes it look tacky and its a pain to look for things where there is repeatedly things being bumps on single threads.

If the system I'm on wasn't so crap and my admin tools worked I'd be tempted to delete the lot and tell him to start again, properly this time!

its a shame as its getting abit silly, i think something has got to be done as its abit much to post every engine detail and part in a single thread and then keep bumping them up
