Im going to bump this because im kinda fed up of having to trawl through endless tat. Could we not have a rule about this?

I mean its fine if your gonna just sell one part but if your selling every single minor bit do we need 20+ threads for each item?

Jesus, yes that IS taking the p1$$. I'll PM Steveo and lock his threads so they drop off.

We have too many rules already mate, and they are difficult to enforce. This forum self polices itself and most people have the common sense (no offence) not to list every single individual component when selling items.

If you see anything you dont like, let one of the team know.

TBH I think one of the team needs to have a word, the for sale section has pretty much looked like this for a while now:

Tyrant got warned for the same thing I seem to recall...there's a car breaking section for all this stuff =;

It's sorted guys, no harm done and I'm 100% confident in saying Steveo is one of the good guys..

mr2mitch is also breaking his car. Is he not doing the same thing wrong by listing all his parts in that forum??? :?

I dont have an issue with his posts, he is selling some good parts which I am quite comfortable him breaking down into individual forsale threads. It would be over zealous to pull him on that, dont you think?

The general rule of thumb is that interesting/popular items can have their own threads but a bulk of mundane items should not.

Above all though, common sense must prevail.

Peter, feel free to apply for the next moderator elections, you report an awful lots of threads so perhaps you could have the fun of moving posts around and PM'ing people :thumleft:

sorry people, just saw this thread... But I did read the rules before posting in there and nothing said this was against the rules which is why I saw no problem -

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=137593

Doesnt say anything about where you need to post as long as you are a Premium member which I am so I saw no harm....

3) If you have a large number of parts to sell on a one-off basis (e.g. you are clearing out your garage or you have a redundant donor car that's being stripped) that's fine if you're a Premium Member

Maybe someone should edit them :)

Again sorry, now just hurry up and buy my parts so I can get this room in the house empty of them LOL

I might be a BM owner now but I will still be hanging around here even after all my parts are gone.. Ive been a member here too long just to leave, 6 years nearly!!!!!!!!! Time flies!!!

So he has a total 22 for sale posts starting in January this year, half of which are on the 1st page. Personally I don't think it's all that bad (apart from the bumps), but I will drop him a PM and see if he's actually breaking a car. :thumleft:
