Dudes,
Is there a limit on the size of tent? Ours is 5 metres by 3 metres.
Also, our blow up bed has a built in electric pump. Is there power there that we can use to blow it up?
We are thinking of coming in 2011

Thanks,
Bod

Size of tent is unlikely to be an issue. As for power, well there will be power, but most just use a connector to the fag lighter on your car don't they?

That can depend on weather you increased you fag lighter output to 240v I suppose. You see why I asked???

Boddney, do not worry, power will be sorted. There will be a generator, there will be cigarette lighter pumps and invertors, its not a problem.

TICKET!
Car - here's a clue = MR2
JAGERMEISTER
Tent
Sleeping bag
Inflatable Mattress
Pump
Inflatable / Fold up chair
Stove / BBQ
Beer - very important
More Beer - so important i said it twice
More Beer if there's room - notice a theme here?
Coolbag - for beer
Smokes (if you got 'em)
Food - that strangely solid stuff you have occassionally between beers
Plate to eat off
Cup to drink from
Teabags! no brew = no fun!
Clothes = especially if dressing up / doing competitions / football
Cash - generally something to buy (beer, food, parts)
Suntan Lotion - believe it or not its sometimes sunny at JAE
Toilet Roll - they run out! and at 3am when drunk its not funny!

Additional:
Olives - for those special drinks
Toothbrush = for oral hygeine obviously - use of beer / toothpaste is optional
Tree - because no JAE would be complete without "bring your own foliage"
Camera - because if Steve Horrocks is there, you are bound to get some comedy pics

But most importantly, bring your sense of humour and and eagerness to have a good time and make some new friends!

Any important changes for 2011 ???

Last time I was at JAE (when a certain person was wearing a grass skirt  ) I seem to remember a ban on glass bottles. Is this still the case?

Yep no glass bottles on site unless it's spirits IIRC. I think wine's ok as well.

Spirits are fine. Don't know about wine (as I don't drink it) but would expect similar.

There were plenty of glass at 2010! 7L of Jager, bottles of whisky and all sorts!

Yeah I think spirits in glass bottles are cool, but not bottles of lager etc if memory serves. All on the JAE website anyhow.

Just checked the JAE forum. Officially, the only bottles allowed are Spirit. So no decent ales or red wine for me. :(

Looks like I'll have to manage with gin and whisky. \:D/
