You not blending in the archs? I know it is a monster but...

One word...... weight!!

Ya I know that weight has all was been an issue as it is an absolute monster, but ...I may be wrong... but having them blending in would make it more aerodynamic and causing less drag allowing the car to cut thou the air more cleanly getting greater times?

Please dont get affended I just though I would ask the question

Don't worry fella, im not going to get offended - any input is good!

I can fully understand your point on the aero side of things and without doing both and trying it I cant give an accurate answer.

My worry was that if the body shop blended the arches in it would be adding 10+ kgs to the weight - another positive to the bolt on setup is that if they get damaged to a tyre issue or any other reason I can just replace them with no worries.

Was supposed to be last weekend I had a faulty alternator and couldn't map it on 11.4volts :(

Not got a date to get it out yet - too much on with the racing calender and just don't have a spare weekend #-o

yes, took it to the pod yesterday for its first run - had a few issues with the slicks growing alot more than expecting so we had to do some work to get the clearance.

The car has got great potential but at the min its quite frankly scary to drive at speed. I never got a run where i was full throttle all the way down the strip. I tried some basic changes but need to have a decent test to iron it out and yesterday wasn't the day.

The slicks offered great grip off the line, i just need to get the balance where they are stable at speed then i can run the nitrous and see what she'll do!

Here's a pic of a nice wheelie though... shame it bogged down so much after.

your car looks like the potential is going to be well scary, and the time, you must be fairly confident of getting into the 9s :-$

well done and looking forward to seeing the end result :thumleft:

Has impressive grip off the line! One question though, I know you had to lift but how come you crossed the line at 129? Thought you were well into the 140s last time?
