So its going well, ive had to make some comprimises based on the body / fibreglass, so not all lines will be perfect however the important side on door ones will be.

Also although spoiler work is going to be done, it wont be fitted at the time of spraying and I'll decide whether im going to fit it afterwards.

vents are in and the car is to be sprayed this weekend (shows rally vent as vented air for cockpit)

Picked up the splitter and headlight covers which have been hydro dipped.

Well it's about 1.1ton and 290bhp. Sense of speed with your bum six inches from the road is something else. However long term want to drop a v6 in it for the noise.

I love the colour but it seems to have made it look like there's a huge arch gap all around

The rear has always been a bit high, but once arch liners are back in giving a black background and tyres clean will look just like it did before....hopefully!

the car is still a mr2 chassis right?
so sitting position from the ground wont have changed?
unless ive missed something.

either way, looks amazing!

im glad you didnt go a with crazy green, lime, ferrari red or something.
looks alot better with a subtle but quality colour youve chosen.

Back from Oz now, although been ill a few days and managed to get on with some work yesterday.

* changing orange indicators to clear lenses on rear
* fit rear camera
* fit meshing around car
* fit HID 4300k kit
* Change front end to softer springs

Was a long evening yesterday!! Hopefully will take it out for a little drive this weekend, although annoyingly a window has become unbonded, so needs putting back on properly at some point so ill have to use tape to hold that down.

Exhaust end piece should be done soon...I hope! And last pic shows the door open in the garage, so should be able to park it in most places :thumleft:

latest bits have been;

* Change of clutch on driveway - NEVER AGAIN!!!
* Change of coilovers to Meister R from BC racing - much better ride!
* laser cut badge for the front

Did 200mile+ journey in it to brooklands supercar day. Car ran fine, although I lost boost on the way home and found the actuator arm had come off the wastegate so could be a missing retainer clip, all back on now.

Looks like im finally getting there in terms of a reliable normal car - 900 miles now complete.
