Just a quick update. I still have one of these left available as someone who wanted it originally has failed to respond to my messages.
Please PM me your postal name and address if you want it (first to PM will get it) same price as before.

If another group buy is wanted I am happy to pass over the details for you to arrange. Or I may have some time to sort it out if someone else can get a decent sized list.

Yea, put me down for one. Could turn out very useful in the future, no more paperclips!

Last unit is now sold. Thanks from all those who showed intrest.
I will check my last known pricing but IIRC we need 12 units or more to get a decent discount. If someone would like to start a proper list I don't mind arranging another order.

If you download the app meant to be used with it, there's a built in glossary that shows all of the data it tracks and shows.

The app is TOYOBD1.

If another group buy were to take place I'd be up for getting one.
Sounds like a cool idea

I ordered one direct from zf162gt. It turned up last week, only had time to connect it up and test while at idle, going to be a week or so before i can get it connected up so that i can take it on a drive.

Great bit of kit, nice to see what is going on and also could be useful for people to compare readings.

Apparently there is a way to get your OBD1 jdm ecu sending data to a OBD2 receiver

Check this out - http://www.mr2.com/forums/threads/92691 ... on-jdm-ecu

I havnt tried this myself yet but someone on here could give it a go.

Are there any similar things available for those of us with iPhones? I'd certainly be interested :thumleft:

i believe the developer is working on a v2 that might add some features to the device so might be worth checking to see when that will be available? i got my v1 early but still haven't got around to setting it up permanently :(

It seems no 3S-GE,3S-FE,3S-GTE from year 1991 or earlier will work.

I'd like to be in... But mine is not supported. (Sep'90)

Cheers!

Edit: I have setup a thread on www.MR2.ie for the same. If someone could look after the UK side, I'll take the Irish side!

I should add that the price of these come down from as little as 3 units. 12 or 24 is ideal though. Alot of the final price is down to international postage (and re packaging/posting around UK). The actual cost of the box is a very fair price.
Whoever organises this just let me know and I'll pass the details on to you unless everybody rather have me organise it?
