TOMS strut Braces value?

Post by Ralliart »

as per title a friend has some front and rear engine strut braces that I am looking to purchase but dont know what's a fair price to offer for them. Been in his shed for a few years.

They require paint / powder coating as are quite grubby looking but are still original in a sort of burgundy colour.

Any ideas guys?

Any refurb work if they are indeed original TOMs you dont want to destroy any markings or labels Ive asked my mate his opinion

1 They are rare
2 £400 a pair is not unreasonable
3 depends on condition, but as i say rare :-)

I've got a mint set currently on the car, but I'm looking to swap to TRD ones.

Thanks for the replies Brian.
Unfortunately they dont have any markings on them and not being original (once painted) i am going to give them a miss.

However he is after £250 for them which wasn't bad but i'd rather pay a few hundred more for an original set (if they ever come up for sale)
