They're very satisfying to look at. Had a set on Mule II, very well made.

Good to hear the '2 is staying for a while :thumleft:

Slowly starting to gather parts together for another round. Some tidyup bits I've had for a while and some new.

Alan's boost delete facia (can't wait to get this in!)

Image

Some spare clear lenses...mine decided to do one on the first time I went out  so will better secure these reflectors in

Image

And the cams. I bought a pair and the inlet was damaged on one lobe so I had another brand new one made up to the exact same specifications

Image

Aaaaaaand well because I'm doing the cams I may as well upgrade the springs at the same time so opted for HKS. this should give me a nice safe 8,000rpm limit.

nice new set of bed springs arrived from Mr HKS today:

Now all I need is a GT3582 turbo and I'm ready for the next round.

If anyone is interested in a basically brand new (i mean sub 2-3k) GT3076 then let me know. T3 V band .82 exhaust. It'll be available once I upgrade.

So new year, new goals!

The car goes in next weekend for some small upgrades

Image

- GT3582r with a gtx 11 blade billet wheel
- ID1000 injectors
- RacerX top feed fuel rail
- AEM FPR and gauge
- GSC Gen 3 S1 268 deg cams
- ATS adjustable cam gears
- HKS valve springs to allow a safe 8k rpm limit
- polybushed front and rear engine mounts to handle the extra torque.

Can't wait!

I'm aiming for 540hp @ 1.6 bar. Will be Dyno tuned again.

My SARD 800cc side feed injectors will be for sale in the rail. Cleaned 4k ago and installed with brand new seals all around (87).

I've also on the side got myself a couple of rev 5 blocks which I'm sending off for radiology and ultrasound testing to measure wall thickness. If casting is good I'll be partially block filling & / or sleeving in preparation for the future if needed.....

Looking good dude, can't wait to see the results, miss my two for the straight line acceleration but nothing else. I have those polybush mounts, just out of interest how much were they ? I (as i have with most of my parts) have no idea how to value them/things.... ](*,)

The Audi is a nice car though, I know what you mean. The daily is a comfy 335 and gives everything you need on a rainy day. But nothing beats the "oh xxxx!" Feeling everytime you hit full boost and wonder if you're gonna die

£40 for both collected buddy

If you're stuck for prices pal pm me the list of bits and I'll happily advise :thumleft:

So the car went in this weekend for Simon @ Predator Performance to work his usual magic. I'm hoping we'll be back on the Dyno for a retune at the start of Feb.

One last addition to the haul above, a nice port matched manifold. Each opened up about 2mm so should hopefully aid flow even if a couple of ponies. Here's some pics stock Vs modified
