Very generous offer that mate - not sure what my plans are. Depends on what Mr Insurance Man says ... But thanks, it's really appreciated.

Really sorry to hear this Johnny, was really hoping to see this monster in the flesh. Glad you are both unscathed as it looks like a fair size initial hit.

I really hope you can pick up the pieces of this project (yet again) and put it into another shell, maybe go for the sleeper look. However after everything I can understand you calling it a day.

As I've said else where I'm gutted for you... but glad you guys were unscathed.

Dont know if it helps, but I have a PAS pump and steering rack and upper and lower column steering columns you are more than welcome to. I was thinking it would be good for you to have that to go with that shell on offer from martin f.

If you want to rebuild, I'll get these down to martin and they can go down the road with your shell from him ??

Cheers

Man, i am really sorry for you mate. As has been said glad all involved are ok.

Out of interest how could the throttle cable stick open? i thought only newer cars with fly-by-wire gas pedals could have this problem.

Just wondering if I'd be better offering the whole car up for sale?
