Yep. Won't be the highest figures, yet. Want to get the cold weather out the way before I really go for it. Mainly for tweaks, more revs and then a bit more boost :)

Don't be scared, get some boost through it!! \:D/

Well, am only running a single Walbro @ the moment due to a pump failure. Going as far as that will allow, before I switch to the external pump when time allows.

LOL! I know you did mate, 635bhp, IIRC?

That would be plenty for me, to be honest.

Did you have a walbro fail? If so do you know the cause?

Oh and i agree, provide it more fuel and break some records :clown:

Yes mate, one failed - not sure of the cause. But it's out - we'll be looking at it closer another time.

I'm having a Bosch 044 fitted externally to solve any fuel system deficiencies. The figures from the RR day will tell me exactly how much more we need to get :)

Running twin in-tank wasnt you? How did you know it had failed then?

Were they vibration dampened between each other and the carrier?

I had a fuel leak and replaced the tank, but something wasn't right, just a gut feeling.
There was not enough space to dampen them getting them in the top of the tank.

I'm glad in a way, the external really is the way to go.

:) Thanks!

Just to add - the PCV breathers are now done, they've been opened up from the stock 7mm to the 19mm required for the weld on -12AN fittings. These are then vented into a breather tank which has internal baffling and is vented to atmosphere.

Running very nicely. Heading to Leeds on the 28th April now for Ryan to do his magic.

Cheers mate.

I think the next restriction might either be the clutch or the fuel. If it's the fuel, I'm not too bothered, as I'm going external pumps soon!

Marc, my goal is 476.5bhp :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Update: Car is dead!
We were out on Wednesday at Scoobyclinic and went out to get some drinks from the shop, when the throttle cable stuck open. By the time I'd stepped on the brakes, the turbo had spooled, catapulting us forward. I tried to step on the clutch, but by that time, we'd gathered too much speed with the corner coming up.

The result was the car being completely totalled after a front 3/4 impact with a roadside hedge. It was just one of these freak occurences in my view, nothing could have been done to prevent it.

I've declared all modifications to A-Plan in the insurance and now, it's up to them to pay me out, although I am expecting to be seriously f'd over on that... but c'est le vie on modified cars.

As I say, the MR2 is dead, but myself and Ryan were fine - and that's all that matters.
