Is there a plan for how we are parking the cars on the stand?

I'll work summat out, I'm not sure where Scott has asked them to put the Marquee so it'll depend a little on that.

Will check out what's happened to your premium membership.

Broken down that consists of:

31 x MR2 inc a genuine Spyder!
1 x Celica
1 x Subaru
3 x non jap cars i am unsure of makes!

1994 GT-S T-Bar 397bhp with NOS *sold*

Fozzy +1 are bringing japanese cars but non MR2s. They are big and colourful but I am sworn to secrecy
I'm probably bringing a MK3 MR2 and a Supra, if I haven't sold them before then!
I take it the Celica is Limey - isn't Malcolm bringing something random too?

I think it would look cool to have all the GT86/BRZ together, MR2's together obviously :D grouped by mk1/mk2/mk3 and then all other japanese wonders in a group :thumleft:

There are usually disproportionately more MK2s than anything else as they produced a lot more of them for a longer period of time. So organising by mark makes for 1 big group and 2 small ones. We've done it by colour before which works quite well.

Stand this year is an interesting shape...a challenge to see what is going to go where!
I am unsure of where the marquee is going to be sited at this time.

Bottom right of this pic - N5,Q5,Q6,Q7,R5,R6

Hopefully the marquee will be around the joint of R5, R6, Q6 and Q7 we could have a crescent of mr2s going down from Q5 through Q6 onto N5 where we could have the GT86s and if any the BRZs, sort of a long line of cars all facing to the grass road which runs right past the front of our domain. All the camping could be toward the bottom of lot as this will be quieter as we have no one behind us.
Mk1b White T-bar SC 1987, Mk1b White coupe Jan90, Mk1b White coupe Jan90 (spares), Mk1b Mica blue T-bar Mar90, Mk1b Mica blue T-bar,full climate control,Jan90, 5 mk1's :)

Non Japanese cars won't be allowed in will they?

That's normally the case.

Sorry that's a typo... I meant to say 3 x jap cars unsure of make.
Of course anything non jap will be outside.

I understand we are next to the MR2OC and maybe we ensure the GT86's are used on the side that abuts the MR2OC stand, that way each club maintains their own identity.

We're opposite the OC so they're on t'other side of the grass road.

'Sitting Pretty' have Q4

R7 doesn't seem to be allocated on the list:

Maybe we can split it with the Corolla Club. :-k

Are we going to have music playing facilities?? Put it this way....the next field will be asking us to turn it down.... .....along with the lasers and strobe lights, we will probably have one of the best systems there. :thumleft:

This year I have also invested some money in some disco style lights. So we should have even more of a party tent, if I can get some more than I will do: my neighbour is a professional DJ and has offered the use of his full lighting rig, which I don't really want to bring as I don't want the responsibility for it, but am going to see if he has something additional we can use. ............better not involve my macc lads c/d,s then

I have also laid my hands on an extremely expensive jump pack/power pack with a socket in it. I have previously run an LED inspection tool on it for over three hours without any noticeable drain on the quality of the light, I am going to test it running a couple of them at a time with a view to when the generator goes out, that we can still have light for several more hours in the marquee.

With regard to music, if people have any specific requests then please do e-mail me, though I may also need you to send me the MP3 of the track, and I will make sure it is included.

for those who have been before, and for those who haven't, people are welcome to put their own music on, I just ask that you respect the equipment. But what I usually do is prepare a playlist for each day with a no repeat guarantee. This includes music that I don't personally like! Yes I have bought music I don't like just for the purposes of JAE.

But more than happy to put anything you want into it, provided it is not too sweary or too extreme for people. Lets just say that my complete collection of Cradle of Filth albums doesn't get an airing!

Do you have to pay in fairy dust? Or will they accept unicorn dollars?

Given the twin charger still remains a myth... :oldtongue:
