Hi all,
My engine is started to be rebuilt in the next few weeks starting wth a bore for my new series3 4agze Pistons.
Can anyone recommend a company for balancing?
Cheers

Turbo Engine Lid
Hi, Bit of a strange request... Could someone please measure the length and width of the raised grills on their turbo engine lid? I want to try modify my n/a mk1 lid for my intercooler and see as the AW11 SC engine cover is hard to get a hold of, this is the next best thing. Many thanks in advance. ...

Re: N/A Fuel Pump with SC Conversion
I've found one at Fensport which delivers 176l/hr so that should be more than adequate, plus it's new as well.

Re: N/A Fuel Pump with SC Conversion
Is there an alternative to the SC pump? Such as a mk2 turbo or the MA70 supra pump?

N/A Fuel Pump with SC Conversion
Hi,
The N/A fuel pump is different to the SC fuel pump is it not?
I'm trying to narrow down why I have suffered with lean fueling.

Re: 4AGZE Blowing Noise
Hi Lauren,
Yeah I'm aware Toyota do not make these anymore but someone in NZ may have one.
Interesting about injectors...
I appear to be lucky...a guy in NZ does have one for $60 but my mate in my very own town has 3...and a bare 4AGZE block.

Re: 4AGZE Blowing Noise
I bought new series 3 pistons today from New Zealand with rings and are OEM so that's a result, but that was the plan anyway, regardless. I've got a spare cylinder head too as there are not different and still bigport. Yes it's a mess. The block is actually okay, however before I have it bored for t...

Re: 4AGZE Blowing Noise
I've nòw got my block apart and the head along with piston no.2 has signed of overheating. I will post up pictures later. The end of the screwdriver that fell in has damaged the top of the piston, but not the dish. The head directly above piston no.2 has also seen damage. However upon looking online...

Have you lined up the cam pulleys and the timing cog behind the crank pulley?

Re: 3STGE AFM on 4AGZE
That is the only thing; getting air cooler than the engine bay, into the boot. Don't want to cut the floor as the back box is directly under it and don't want to ruin the structure of the boot.
Perhaps fans and cutting the boot lid.

Re: 3STGE AFM on 4AGZE
I was collecting parts ready for the rebuild.
Got the driveshafts, mounts and exhaust to remove, then the engine. So will be out at the weekend hopefully.
Got my speeding fine through so i have to pay that off first.
Has anyone mounted there IC in the boot with the 4AGZE?

Re: 3STGE AFM on 4AGZE
My engine will be out over this or next weekend, for a rebuild in November and read somewhere that it could be an advantage using the 3SGE or turbo AFM over the stock 4AGZE...
Also, I was considering a boot mounted IC - what affects are there on making the IC pipes slightly longer?
Cheers
