[Mk2] [Turbo] Setting up Blitz Duel Solenoid EBC.

At has a Rev 3 tubby conversion. I've had a couple of EBC in the past but usually just use a good quality MBC. Now I've managed to set the Blitz dual solenoid EBC to some degree but tbh I am struggling to fine tune this if I'm being totally honest. I'm looking for 16 psi max and despite looking onli...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Progressive rate springs, which way up?

I have progressive rate springs on my 93 UK car with recent Rev3 turbo swap. Whilst this was done I also had new front strut inserts fitted and replacement low mileage good condition rear shocks and new top mounts fitted. Now, as long as I've had progressive rate springs fitted, usually by myself I ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fuel gauge reading incorrectly.

Righty, fuel tank filled to the absolute brim with my usual V-Power, waited until any bubbling or expansion had calmed down and gently repeatedly topped up again and again until the tank was absolute full and then some so to speak. The fuel gauge needle is now way past the letter F for full, as in n...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fuel gauge reading incorrectly.

from your description, the needle is reaching it's upper limit of movement at full tank. my 2 cars have both got stock fuel gauges, one of them goes just past the top mark when full, the other only reaches the top of the top mark. the one with the higher reach, runs out of fuel just after the botto...

Well one way or another I have to get that back in reality, what other option do I have other than bite the bullet on that as well.

Rhetorical question obviously.

Re: Peter Gidden of Sbits.

@Hillracer......nailed it mate. I haven't read one word of Peters response for the reasons I and yourself have listed previously, there is absolutley no point in wasting anymore time and money with regards this trader and his "specialist" work. I'm sure he is still accusing me of traveling...

Re: Peter Gidden of Sbits.

So he did replace the fuel pump? How can u tell the difference between the tre one he said and a chinese one then? The fuel pump that was removed certainly looks new, the guys that removed said that it looked like it was a freshly but badly installed pump. They also stated that they very strongly b...

I'll try and post up what I can when I can.

This is not a personal attack on Peter Gidden or Sbits, I am just trying to give genuine feedback backed up with what evidence I can.

Re: Peter Gidden of Sbits.

so Peter has charged you for replacing this and he hasnt? Any reply on this Peter? Charging for work that wasnt completed? I know he has done this before according to other people that have had "work" done by him. Sadly this seems to be the case. The fuel filter that was on the car was ex...

Re: Peter Gidden of Sbits.

Seeing as there is doubt about the pics of the fuel pump and fuel filter actually being the ones that were on my car after collecting it. The fuel filter and the fuel pump being just a picture I downloaded or perhaps I actually paid a garage to replace a brand new turbo fuel filter with an old N/A i...

Re: Peter Gidden of Sbits.

I've "tidied up" and deleted some of my posts on here and the MROC as I was Very angry and letting that emotion get in the way. Some things I typed were totally unnecessary and some were personal attacks on Peter Gidden which is inexcusable and I sincerely apologise. Anyway, I really would...

Re: PETER GIDDEN, the "SPECIALIST". :(

I've tidied up and deleted a few posts as like I've said they were written in anger and pure frustration. I'm not trying to hide anything as I'm sure whoever is concerned has screenshots or similar. I've been in the wrong in the manner of which I've responded to Peter and some others on here, others...

Re: Peter Gidden of Sbits.

Right, so why didn't you just reply to your existing thread? having multiple threads running for the same issue isn't helping. You could also respond to Peter's response to your claims. I've actually just seen Peters response actually, and as far as I can see it's just more of the same from him. Li...

Why didn't you post this in your existing thread? https://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=194272&start=40 Really no need for multiple threads for the same thing. Because I wanted to get as much evidence as I could before posting anything up buddy. I can't afford to get everything sorted a...

Why have you posted this all over again? Its exactly what you have already said.
