Re: Rear bushes help

I just came across these ones first. My inner bushes are seriously worn out so literally anything is going to be better than what's in there! I did watch the mcm build but never realised they replaced this part. I'll have another watch :) It just so happened a friend had these very ones in his gara...

Re: Rear bushes help

Re: Monty

Thanks Guys! Love it! Re: Monty

Hi All, Been a while since I have updated this thread. After my last post I stuck it in for a MOT and I made a terrible mistake. During the shakedown on my country lanes it was the time of the year whereby the farmers are driving around a lot. There was a lot of mud and other stuff on the road. It w...

Re: Pistols MR2 stories... Race car and Project car..

Love it!

So many parallels with my own MR2 in the garage right now. Due to the lockdown my allowance I have each month has been pit on hold (self imposed).

So I haven't done much, but your car is a bit further stripped than mine. Very similar results as you.

Re: Turbo driveshafts

Somewhat related, when I had to refurbish my center driveshaft for my Touareg, I just googled driveshaft refurbishment and took it to the enarest result. They were incredibly helpful and gave me some options and allowed me to just drop off the driveshaft. They refurbed all the bearings adn I picke d...

Very true, there was no way to see that rust without removing a lot of parts :)

Re: Worth repairing? No quote given for labour, estimate?

True it wasn't but I also want to get rid of it. I had an oppertunity/decision to make. Fix the failures or strip adn rebuild. Ihave chosen strip adn rebuild.

Not going as fast as I would like, but its winter and I am away a lot. Which sucks.
