yep that will be me, I got hold of a couple of headlight motors so that should fix that. Hope your having better luck with this engine - read your project thread well impressed looks great, I couldnt take on anything like as big a job as that!

has been fine other than the inevitable stone chips although it was worth it as you would probably agree! Will probably need to look at the headlight motor and getting the sills done over the year.

if its a v reg sonic shadow is probably me, am sure have seen your car a couple of times on the a89 past Edinburgh airport and around the area as GF & parents stay around Livingston. Glen with the red rev3 turbo mentioned you had helped him with a couple of things when spoke with him on this yea...

I found if you use some sort of rubber cleaner it helps it too, think it was Auto Glym I used and seemed to do the trick

maybe worth trying Stainless Creations who specialise in MR2's in falkirk (is a wee bit away from Glasgow though) for a quote, have used them for work on my cars and happy to recommend them.

Well it was between an x19, CRX and mk1 MR2 that the MR2 won when I was looking for my first mk1 many moons ago!. Have always had a soft spot for X19's though, saw these at a resent show I was at - the orange and white ones had some sort of turbo engine conversion but never got a good enough look in...
