I've been defeated..

I have 7mm holes all the way through the stud, ive tried to extract but they will not budge.

So i'm going to ask a friend of mine to rethread them or something.

I don't normally accept defeat but I'm getting tired of this exhaust manifold

Okay thanks for the advice. Grinding off the nuts helped. I got the bolt off to get the bracket off.
Now I need to get the two broken studs out. These are seized!

I'm at the point where I'm taking the exhaust manifold off from above and below the car.

I'm failing to see how I can remove the cam belt and pulleys etc... with the space next to the rear shock.

is it possible or should I just remove the engine?

So I'm a complete novice. I know nothing about cars and I decided to buy an MR2. I hunted one down for £300 and it runs fine. It's 100% the fog lights. So I have no idea how they got them out.
