GT86's - so passe', MR2's have the heart!
Doh!
It's like JAE, we team up with both clubs as it helps numbers. MR2s are getting less and less. It makes sense.

Re: Duderstadt 2018 de Zomeredition
Ooh, thanks, Erik for the message. It's certainly possible and I may be able to get some GT86's. Hotels are better than camping I think. :) Have already posted it up on the GT86 BRZ DC: http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/5967-duderstadt-2018-10-12th-august/ I have to say if we go again this time, t...

Re: JAPFEST 2018 - IMOC/TWOBRUTAL/MR2 DRIVERS CLUB ATTENDEE LIST/TICKET PURCHASE
Hello guys, I have a question regarding the track time. As it is my first Jap Fest I don't know how it works. I reckon it is by sessions. There are 2 options, 3 sessions or unlimited. I'm planning to take unlimited. Also it would be my first track experience with my own car, so is it a good place t...

Re: N/A Fuel Pump with SC Conversion
You can change the pump, but you'll still need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator that will need to be setup on the rollers to get the fuel pressure right. If you fit the adjustable fuel pressure regulator, you don't need to change the pump at all as I have proven some 15 years ago. But I'm not s...

Re: N/A Fuel Pump with SC Conversion
Pretty sure the MK2 turbo fuel pump is fine for this. But you'd need to check it is a straight swop.

Re: N/A Fuel Pump with SC Conversion
Yes it is. I'm sure I've told you this before but if you run an NA pump you have to run a rising rate adjustable fuel pressure regulator and have it setup on the rolling road. Otherwise it will run lean as the fuel pressure regulator runs a lower pressure than the NA which really causes the issue. O...

Re: 4AGZE Blowing Noise
I had a problem with injectors on my 4AGE, one wasn't working properly and it would melt a piston. Did it twice before I replaced them all.
You simply cannot buy a knock sensor for the GZE. Absolute hens teeth as your only option is secondhand. Toyota discontinued them years ago now.

Re: 4AGZE Blowing Noise
What a mess. :( New head required and pistons of course and if it's scratched te bores then the engine will basically be scrap. SC's can run a bit lean from what I remember, but if you are running big pulleys and all that always get it setup on the rolling road as you may need an adjustable fuel pre...

Oulton Park Saturday 27th January £139- MSV
As many may know, I was supposed to be out today for a track day but it was snowed off, so I've been credited and re-booked for Saturday 27th January. I thought I'd see if I can get some MR2s out there! I will there in my GT86 of course and finally get a chance to test my new AP 4 pots out. :) Detai...

Re: mk1 turbo featured on Speedhunters
It's almost like not many go to the effort of putting genuine JDM wheels on. I think this was just a sign of where things were 15 years ago when MK1's were in their heyday on here. I approve of yours though.

Re: 3STGE AFM on 4AGZE
Fans won't be efficient. Cutting the bootlid is one thing, but you need airflow so you'd need to cut a vent in the side of the wing or something and then seal it to the IC and seal the IC to a hole in the bootlid. Not a pretty solution.
