Re: Cracked cylinder 3 ring land :UPDATE:

- Never rebore if you don't have to (especially a 3S-GTE) - Consider what your target numbers/budget is and build to that - Match CR to the desired goal. Lowering to 8:1 in if you're not going for big boost/big power is just going to hurt performance ultimately; compression = power Never get sucked ...

Re: jtbsupplies on ebay

Still trading on ebay with relatively high rate of feedback. They twice failed to send, then just refused to communicate. It's essentially my fault, but anyone looking to do some painting might be drawn in by their reasonable offers on mixing cups, sticks, and strainers. If so, it's best to get them...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Spot weld - what size drillbit

Re: Magic beans Rev5

Cool. I've been in that car. Also Phil spilled beer in it. Stupid question but why would you MOT and tax it if you are just going to take it out of the country on a transporter? I've been following Sabrina on instagram for ages. It's a shame about the punitive, callous laws in Germany about mods. Th...

I'm gonna be one of those prannies that says no after asking you a million questions because I can't really afford it right now, in terms of priorities. If by some miracle someone hasn't ...

Re: What happened to my turbo?

£182 = ebay chinese gt3076 with oil feed/drain fittings
£116 = mamba billet compressor
£50-75 = turbo check and balancing from a specialist
£50 = chinesium t3 adapter
£100 = set aside for proper hoses, gaskets, studs etc

around £500, ooooor, buy a "kit" from a "specialist"
