Hi sorry I was a bit lazy on the update I forgot to add the high output ACL oil pump to thread.....this with my bigger sump should not making the squitter not a issue...

If it has sat for that long with out turning over I would
Drain oil and fuel + filters
Replace
Pull the leads off. Crank a few times to allow the oil to circulate and stop unnecessary ware

1. Make sure all the under trays are fitted this will help 2. Vented wings as mentioned.. But only useful if you are going to run brake ducting in to the wheel arch.. But again check you have the wheel sh!t shield in 3 Border front bonnet + the rad relocation kit does help but costly.. 4 Rev 5 speed...

So what is you can run ie offset and no spacers? as that list has made me a little concerned if it is right

I really wouldn't put a catch tank under my my air filter as you will be putting alot of crap in the engine. I would make sure I is higher than the engine to allow the oil to run back in...

So a bit of a set back has occurred.... when on the dyno ( start of th running in max 2k revs) A very faint knocking sound was heard so all stopped and investigated With out any way of truly seeing any thing that could of caused it, it was agreed to drop the engine and do a full strip down.. a lot hence the rebuild and it hasn't left the T.D.I and I still haven't driven it

Builders merchants buy chalk dust blue ( used for chalk lines £5) blow the power all round the boot then wait... The dust will leave a drip /run marks once it get wet and track it to the leak. Once done a wet cloth easy removes the left over chalk

as in oil drainer? I have a pipe on the bottom with a -6 fitting with a tap so I can drain the oil with ease...
