Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Electrical gremlins visitation.
The voltages at the pins as you look at the connector are.... Left pin.. black and white/yellow? wire=3.8v middle pin=11.9v right pin=11.8v Hope you can help. OK, the black/yellow wire comes from ignition main relay, through ECU-IG fuse, and then to the 3 pin plug. So now measure voltage at the ECU...

None whatsoever.
A base map should only be regarded as sufficient to get the engine running.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Electrical gremlins visitation.
Well I managed to replace the alternator in my car today. Car started fine so I checked the voltage across the battery and it read 12.05v with the engine idling, is this normal? No. Should be around 13.6-14V. So now you have to find where the fault lies. Is the replacement alternator known to be in...

Re: Can anyone Around Manchester Come view A Car with me
In this case pete im assuming the minions would be things like minor scratches, defects, oil leaks etc. That would be considered resonable for a car of that particular age to have? De Minimis can apply in any legal action. It does not have to refer to a financial value or cost. For instance, a yell...

One good thing if bidding on e gay is if it doesnt match up to the description (faults found that wasnt on the description) then you are entitled to walk away as "not as described". Unless of course, those faults were found to be De Minimis. Or in its unabbreviated form, maxim de minimis ...

Sounds about right price wise. Few notes: all Rev3-5 turbos had LSD as standard. Suspension can't have been cornerweighted if on standard struts. As thomp says, hopefully it's a good car, because when you bought it, you entered into a legally binding contract to purchase it at an agreed price, not ...

With only the year and mileage as clues, no one can tell you what it's worth. Not that it matters since you've bought it.

Difficult for anyone to tell you what's wrong without seeing the car, but start by looking for the burnt wires.
