Re: Mambatek actuator with Greddy.
Stock has two ports because stock has its own boost control. The 2nd port connects to a stock bleed valve / solenoid. The Mamba units come with multiple springs, so first I would run it with no boost controller in the loop at all - hose from boost reference on turbo direct to actuator. This is to co...

RHDJapan base price is a little less: https://www.rhdjapan.com/oem-public-pag ... 4-20140-C1
Not sure what the shipping will be from them.

Re: sticky gear change
I've always found the E153 a bit slow going compared to the S54, S54 really felt like you could flick through the gears so quickly with ease. E153 certainly feels more stout, but it also feels a bit slower, I've yet to drive an E153 equipped car that matches the S54 in that regard.

Re: sticky gear change
I didn't change my shifter when I engine swapped so assume the same. Only difference is the cables AFAIK, and thats just one of them is a different length IIRC.
Not sure on RacerX as a brand. Seems to be pretty low quality chinesium with a name slapped on.

Re: sticky gear change
For what its worth, any high quality GL4 oil will do great in an E153. There is nothing particularly special about MT90 other than it is an example of a high quality GL4 oil.

Re: sticky gear change
All good - I've seen on the FB groups some people have drilled the hole out if it's ovalled an put a collar in there to bring it back down to the right size. Dunno if thats a commercially available product, if it is I would guess its from the US side!

Re: sticky gear change
Ah great i'll get on the hunt for one. Yeah I just bought the wee polybushes for it. Looking forward to getting them in. The gear change isn't the worst but it deffo could be better! With everything else being done to the car I don't want to leave it. Another thing to check is your clutch pedal hei...

Parts cat suggests that the shifter assembly itself is the same from Rev2 on for EU and Japan.

Re: sticky gear change
If your stock bushings are so wallowed out the ID is egg shaped then the bearings are an improvement. They are absolutely xxxx compared to a polybushing or spherical bearing. It needs that small amount of articulation.

Re: sticky gear change
Fit a Rev3+ (might be Rev2+?) shifter as this is the shortest factory one not counting TRD, and get either polybushes or spherical bearings for the cables. They need to be able rotate a bit which the skateboard bearings do not allow them to do.
You changed out the square bushing too?

My Walbro 255 is very noisy vs OEM. Correctly installed with rubber damper thing on the hanger, tank is spotless internally. Bought from legitimate seller and nothing on the pump rang alarm bells about being fake, all seems legit.

If it was, it was probably some sort of special order. The colour is not in the Rev5 UK market brochure.

Someone who follows me on instagram has one, but he's in japan lol
I *think* it was a Japan only colour, along with the Champagne Mica.
