the 1500 quid + parts, was that for them taking the car from you, or you just giving them the bare engine?
I also need to get mine refreshed so am looking for people to do it in the new year.

The R4 pads are the nuts. Use a good fluid to get the best from them though.
You'll not get better for stock setups.

I would image that would rub to be honest when cornering and the wheel/tyre move about.

i disagree with buy a motec, only buy that if in the future you plan on changing your injectors etc and to go for 350+bhp unichip is great for people that don't want to spend 1k plus on a standalone engine management they don't want or need. A motec on it's own will make far more power and make is ...

Get a Motec. Better in the long run and will everything you ever need.
Had a unichip once but was a false economy.

other way round on mine. :)
Normal though, yes.
Just the way the air flows through the pipes, one route to the exit is longer so gases cool off.
