Re: JAE Discussion Thread

We're planning on arriving on Saturday morning sometime - and we're coming in the half japanese camper ;) Question is, will we be ok to get through to the camping area on Saturday or will access be blocked by the stand? Don't want to cause chaos.. if we need to get there Friday night, we can do, jus...

Re: Do I want a rev 4 turbo t-bar?

I would budget £6000 tops for a rev4 and that seems really high to me , condition is key , the less molested the better , I like to have a blank canvas before modding . Nothing worse than sorting out other peoples mistakes. Kev. Ps. You can buy a nice rev3 for around £3000 and dont know that a rev4...

Yes, I agree and that was why I was looking at a fresh import but at £6500 it feels a little steep. It ...

Re: Do I want a rev 4 turbo t-bar?

Thanks chaps :) Knowing that the rev 3 engine is no different to the later ones is a great help. The rev 4 ones I've seen are £6500ish and £9500ish! Would defo rather pay less than that. I'll be at JAE this weekend so will have a look round there and work out what I want. I definitely won't be buyin...

Do I want a rev 4 turbo t-bar?

Hi all I'm after an MR2 to play with. Just a road car, unlikely to be tracked. I don't want to play too much with the engine, so reliability is a big want, I'm more interested in the cosmetic stuff. I always wanted a late rev 5 t-bar and didn't originally plan to get a turbo, but my normal car is a ...

Introducing myself...

Hi All I'm a member from a long time ago, below is a link to some photos of my MR2 that I no longer own. Has been out of my possession for a looong time now... It was my pride and joy as I had transformed it from a standard Rev 1 N/A dark green Japanese import to what you see here... I got an unexpe...

So we don't get too many evil eyes, I realised earlier that the camper is actually half Japanese as it's running a Subaru engine ;) See you there!

Okey doke. Will see if there's somewhere else we can camp. Do we need to buy tickets through here to be eligible for hog roast on sat?

Re: JAE 2014 - Attendees List

Really? So the camp site is part of the stand? Figured it would just be a field somewhere near by with tents in and the cars would be elsewhere on the stands.

Re: JAE 2014 - Attendees List

Can my hubby and I come? I used to have a MK2 MR2 but not currently an owner... Thinking of getting one again to play with though and would love to see what's going on in the Jap scene now. Would there be room in the camp site for us to bring our camper van to sleep in? It's not big, just a VW... Wo...
