Re: Brands hatch this sunday (1st of Feb)

Do they ever run the full GP circuit for trackdays? I only ever see Indy on MSV. They do and it ought to be brilliant but you will have to pay for the honour (think £300+). Ouch, I'd rather do open pitlane at Bedford for £150, 2 4 hours sessions and maaasssiiiive run off  for real?! :eye: bedf...

Re: Anyone fancy helping do autocross event?

Autograss is rough, I used to race a Mini down South and it was a car killer, although fantastic fun  Yup! the grass one we did was ACE fun in the MK1, but a real killer on the stiff track suspension we had on  I bounced so hard once, that my ar$e came right off the seat - big air!

Re: Brands hatch this sunday (1st of Feb)

My 1 critisism was the number of cars that were allowed out on track at once. It seemed I was constantly stuck behind another car or once past was having to move out of the way of the fast cars. Maybe a longer track would have kept the distances a bit better :-k But was still a thoroughly enjoyable...

Re: MR2 fluid changes

You can do brakle fluid on 500ml if your very very carefull 1L is plenty. Yup - I filled my brake system from empty with a 1L bottle that still had some left over (can't remember how much though). LOL - Garrick likes getting carried away with flushing, but i'm sure we have done it with 1 litre befo...

£20-30

should be less than 1 hours labour

buy from a local motor factors

Unleash: care also not to damage the hub as well as the new bearing going in.

straight from EBC or brakes international.

Re: Anyone fancy helping do autocross event?

Just remembered that Rugby Motor Club puts on various autocross/autotest/autosolo/grass auto testing type events quite regularly. The go for full championships in some cases, but anyone can enter and it's great fun. Try Nuneaton Motor club on face book - they were trying to get some autosolo stuff ...

Re: Mon 4th May - MLR trackday at SPA FRANCORCHAMPS & The Nürburgring

My engrish is sometimes not goot ! I havent got an Evo Steve .. friend has one as I've been enticing him into dragging his Evo along to the ring. I've mentioned I may not pop along to this date and arrrange another where its ring only ! I'd be tempted to do Spa only, as its my FAVE circuit bar none...

Re: Anyone fancy helping do autocross event?

Have you been to any autocross events with your MK2?

I guess the reason why there hasn't been an mr2 autocross is due to numbers to make it cost effective.

Are you looking at organising a single event for mr2s?
