Re: **UPDATED** 1991 Rev 1 (Beastly V6 1MZ-FE VVTI) **UPDATED**
I do like to tinker with my car  Like you say rust is a torrid thing and anything that I can do to prevent it or attack any small bits that are already on the car is a good thing. That said the only small patches of rust on the car is the section I've been working on in the frunk and a smal...

Re: **UPDATED** 1991 Rev 1 (Beastly V6 1MZ-FE VVTI) **UPDATED**
I've managed to do a few small bits and pieces today. Nothing major but a few jobs to keep the car improvement going... Firstly my left front indicator had recently been deciding when it wanted to work. This causes the other indicators to go into a 'disco effect mode' Initially I thought that ...

Re: **UPDATED** 1991 Rev 1 (Beastly V6 1MZ-FE VVTI) **UPDATED**
How many people have created a rain cover for the V6 conversion due to alternator water ingress. It's also questionable as to whether there is now anything wrong with your original alternator. Also, regarding the wheels, I think it looked much much better on the 17s. Sorry to sound negative, just m...

And the two that have been deleted....
Maybe just post one thread and keep it all on one thread Kevin so people don't end up posting the same thing ?

Re: Car won't start - ideas/help... ***UPDATE - STILL FUBARRED!!***
Unfortunately I'm not joking... Busses don't run at the times I work, or go vaguely near my house which is why I need a reliable daily driver. So I have no choice but to run just shy of a marathon every day. It wouldn't be as bad if some of the areas I run through weren't quite so rough  I'm ho...

Re: Car won't start - ideas/help... ***UPDATE - STILL FUBARRED!!***
Car is still sat in the garage and I'm still running 20 miles a day to commute  I've done lots more tests, including hooking the alternator up with a test loom that Peter made and sent me but the drain is still there. All tests indicate that the drain is coming from the alternator. The problem ...

Re: Removable silencers - angry neighbours
I've got removable silencers in my custom exhaust tips. It really does bring the resonance down a lot and I would suggest getting a pair especially if it's a daily driver. Have a gander at my build thread to see pictures of them and the fitment. I can't remember the name of the company who did all t...

Have you checked the battery voltage??
If battery voltage isn't high enough the engine will try to turn but won't catch.

Ooohh that's very nice... Possibly the only spoiler I would put on my car.
Do you know if this comes as a built bootlid or if someone has bonded and smoothed the spoiler to a standard boot?

1. I have never asked anyone to send any payment as a gift. 2. yet again I receive more threats and random insults via PM from this guy. 1. I can confirm that when I've bought parts from TFS in the past he did not ask for payment as a gift. 2. Please forward those messages onto me. Abuse of any sha...

You need to chill out, and be a little more careful with your wording. Insulting other members on here who are trying to help you is not going to do you any favours. I would also suggest not continually slandering another member on here. You have raised the issue several times already. He insulted ...

It will certainly be a nice project and something a bit different if I manage to find one and fit it... It's definitely a project for the far future though :-k The testing on the car continues but I think I'm homing in on the issue a bit more. We shall see soon. I've also fitted the earthing cables ...

Completely agree - I'm not a fan of yellow on red... It's not a good look IMO.

Re: Car won't start - ideas/help... ***UPDATE - STILL FUBARRED!!***
On another note numerous numerous tests conducted on the car. I'm not going into the ins and outs of all of them (as there have been a lot) but some of the results aren't quite adding up to a normal issue. Despite numerous searches I can't find any record of another car with similar issues. It would...

There will be no progress on the car issues tomorrow though as I'm off to Twickenham \:D/ Me too, a good performance from the Fjlians but they were never going to win. A much better performance from the Welsh of course  It looks like you're getting very close to the solution Karl. Good luck a...

Voltage of interior boot light
What voltage should be coming out of your interior boot light?
I've only got just over 1V coming out of mine, and I'm wondering if that's why the damn thing doesn't work...
