Suggestions on starting a yr long unstarted car
I'm picking up a Mk1 this saturday, and wondered whether anyone had any ideas on minimising stress to the engine when its first started. It's been sitting on a driveway for over a year now, however it was serviced like clockwork before then, anyone got some suggestions. I vaguely remember that squir...

Re: Cambelt (Timing Belt) change on a Mk1 MR2
Thats really handy info Paul, I'll give it a shot, I have a nice 3/8" breaker bar just calling out to be used! Unfort I live in west wales so I coulnd be any further from you, I'm still feeling brave so its not that much of a problem.
Cheers Again. Just have to pick up the car now!

Cambelt (Timing Belt) change on a Mk1 MR2
Does anyone know how easy/difficult it will be to change the timeing belt on the engine. I've changed 16 valve Rover Cambelts, if it is pretty similar, Could I get some sort of locking tool for the cams from somewhere other than MrT!!!

Re: stripping/rebuilding rear mk1 calipers sst tool?
Hi new to the forum so be easy on me! I wondered how much your rebuild kit was from MrT as I need to rebuild mine, and the sealing kit alone was £59+VAT on its own!?
