[Mk2] [Turbo] Looking for some longer front wheel studs

Can someone point me in the direction of where I can get some slightly longer front wheel studs? The wheels i'm fitting take a 8mm spacer up front to clear the brakes and coil overs. there not much left on the thread to bite upto.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] G-limited won't rev past 5k rpm

This may be worth a quick check, im not saying its the problem, I had these issues a couple of months ago, turned out a replacement ecu had 2 blown caps in causing this problem. its only 4 screws on the ecu top plate to check.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 suspension refresh

sorry why no coilovers?

I've just removed my billies with uprated top mounts and springs. all of it in good working order & my car has been recently had its poly bushes replaced. I just didn't find it anywhere near as good as these coilovers in all situations.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Sticking brakes

yes your likely to find whats not right, caliper is normally fine, its the slider pins that normally need replacing due to be pitted and corrosion. pistons will need freeing back up. Normally I take the caliper off the hub and leave it connected to the brake line. take the pads out and put wood in t...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 Turbo seals possibly blown, cost of re-building turbo?

replacing the turbo expect £250+ on labour. What ever your doing with the turbo, reconditioning or replacement. + oil, coolant, all turbo gaskets, exhaust gaskets, possible replacement lines depends on the condition to be factored in as well. If its the turbo anyway :) i'm sure there more bits that ...

could just be moisture in the exhaust from a cold start, all its been doing is raining the last few months. better description of the smoke would help.

when my ct26 started to died, hot or cold. hello smoke, every time I used the throttle from stationary or spooling up.
