did go back to aplan only two companies where quoting me on a classic policy, aplan and aib, neither of which came with an agreed value and as the price was not much less than the modified policy I went with, I didn't see the point going with a classic policy anymore so, selling the yaris, daily dri...

don't you just love the consistency in insurance :lol:
half the time it seems to get cover you don't need to meet the requirements, just get the right person
most of them do seem to be saying the same though - garage now required for classic, might change next time you renew

spoke to classic line again this morning, they explain that the rules have changed as of jan this year and now the car needs to be garaged :(
so as it stands only aib and aplan will insure me, looks like I may be going back to aplan who I started with 8 years ago when I first bought the car

spoken to a few this morning aplan - phoning back carole nash - wont quote on classic due to no garage classic line - wont quote at all need2insure - wont quote at all performance direct - wont quote for classic on jap import AIB - £497, 5k miles, £350 excess no agreed value fluxdirect - £429 on mod...
