Re: TRD Widebody - 509.6BHP!
Cheers, yeah goes well, a bit laggy if i'm honest but when its on boost it goes well!
Got the rear Tein's off at the moment and having them re-furbed as the damping is goosed. The adjustment screw is stuck. Got a few more bits to do over the coming months/year. I'll put any pics up as it progresses.

Re: [All] [Generic] J, JJ, ", mm's, offsets, widebodys and confusion
Its quite interesting the TRD site recommends 8.5 +7
If i'm running 10 + 9 that makes my rear aches approx 21mm wider? Theres no way I could run any more offset as it would be inline with the arch and clash on bumps. Maybe I should measure the outside width of the car?

Re: [All] [Generic] J, JJ, ", mm's, offsets, widebodys and confusion
Meister S1 3 pieces is what I am going to get, didn't really want to let on :-$ Seen that one it runs daft offsets thats why they stick out, he's on Front : 18x8.5 -12 215/35/18. Rear : 19x10.5 -23 235/35/19 I'm running 10's now and you could easily get 11's on without hassle on my car, but I am try...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] turbo surge/flutter
I've got two Greddy RS in series, I don't get any flutter when coming off throtlle, unless I do it on purpose. i.e. load it up and really gently ease off.

[All] [Generic] J, JJ, ", mm's, offsets, widebodys and confusion
Right, I'm a bit confused. As I understand it............. - J and JJ are rim profiles made to a specific standard - A rim width is measured in " to the extreme outside faces - An offset is the difference between the wheel centre line and hub face So my wheels are 254mm wide measuring from the ...

Ok, to cut to the chase as Don obviously can't.........and yes I know about bodywork. I bought a proper rubbish widebody and cut just about every panel in half and stuck them back together again. Re: [FINALIZED] My car on Ebay....Rev 3 Turbo.
Well Michael wanted the rolling chassis, then if someone would buy the engine. Its really cheap for a built and mapped engine, with so few miles on. I have pondered about my car, but I could never sell it as I'd just be throwing away money. As it stands it costs the same as buying a new car on regul...

Hi, Thanks for the reply's. I will look out for the message in the Summer! :thumleft: They look very good, do you have any other lamp options? The lamps you have used seem to have a side light and main beam? So you can have the lights on dipped (low setting) then switch to full beam? Sorry I cannot ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 4"x6" headlights - do they exist ???
Hi, Can't view those pictures. Do you have a price and any more details of how you make the light stay low? They look good, but it looks like the normal surround is missing? Maybe there is an opportunity to start a group buy on here. I would be interested in a set at the right price. Before I get po...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Big uprated fuel system setup, have a question.
Walbro in tank, Sard FPR, Wolfkatz rail, Seimens 872cc top feed injectors. Got plenty of spare fuel. I'm slightly struggling with the BIG fuel pump passing fuel back. I'm not overly familiar with them............but a normal PD pump (I think fuel pumps are sliding vane type) the fluid is forced out ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Tom's underbody brace?
No it wouldn't be in round section, but the tanabe one is made in rectangular. I'm sure it won't make too much difference at the end of the day any additional stiffness is a bonus.............if you are trying to make the front stiffer? Stiffening the front will tend to make it oversteer.
