also, whilst i said itll be plug and play, that is not including the fact youll have to wire in the two power supplies into your loom. i used the ignition feed for the radio.

i have for sale my carpc setup i took out of my mr2. it includes a toyobd1 reader. this will fit any toyota engine pre OBD2. if you plug it into a 3vzfe then it'll be plug and play, if you plug it into anything else you'll have to delete the engine profile out of the software and add yours. this is ...

ive looked through the recording of the livedata from my obd tool just before it started knocking the timing went Waaaay advanced and stayed there. im pretty sure the ecu caused it, if (big if) i rebuilt it id want to fit another ecu. i think i screwed up the resistor mod or my ecu wasnt compatiable...

so yesterday i was bleeding the cooling system and all was well until i blipped the throttle and :splutter: :conk: :dead:. i started it back up and it cut out. and a gain. oh dear. i popped the airfilter off and gave the afm flap a poke and the fuel pump didn't run. hmm... stuck a SOS up on two brut...

more stuff done today. or should i say, this week. ever since i fitted the v6 ive had intermittant charge issues, which got worse and worse until it was only charging at 12.8v and the battery light was on permanently. i knew my wiring was right so i pulled the alternator and sent it to a specialist....

i bought this mr2 to break for parts... then couldnt bring myself to do it. it was rotten and had been stood for about 10 years. so far i have welded up the sills and wheelarches undersealed everything replaced all the handbrake cables had the rear calipers refurbished by bigg red (best in buisness)...

ive done a load more wire tidying today. ive got rid of the 'lazy eye' headlight mod. it turned out to just be a on/off/momentary rocker switch wired so you could isolate then momentarily apply power to the motors to stop them where you want. that was interfaced in the frunk where the fuse should ha...

the only thing ill miss is remote central locking, but ill fit a c/l kit to it (same as the one i just fitted to the red one) and all will be well again :)
