I finally got my wheels n tyres fitted, here is a link to what this size/offset look like for future reference:

Front 17x8 5x114.3 +35mm
Rear 17x9 5x114.3 +42mm

Tyres are uniroyal rainsport2s:
215/40/17
235/40/17

255/40/17 on a 9J 35 offset will foul the arches over minor bumps. Ditto 245. If you want a fat tyre, get those arches rolled/pulled ;) I'd stick with a 255/40 and get the arches done personally. I have a set of 17x9 rims on the back, what tyre size are people running?

235/40 R17
245/35 R17 - hard to get tyres in this profile
255/40 R17

I am trying to decide between 235 or 255 - any bad points with running 255 on the back?

255/40/17s suit 17x9 wheels, but will need arches rolling more than likely. Especially on ET35. Only thing is, it knocks the speedo out, but it seems to over read by 5 mph anyway :mrgreen: I went with +45mm - http://www.puredream.net/mr2/wheel Couldn't get them in that colour from uk supplier. I would love +35, but the supplier can only get the wheels i want in
17x9 +25 or 17x9+45.

Does anyone have a couple of photos of a 17x9 +45mm offset wheel fitted to the back of an MR2.

According to http://mr2.gordaen.com/wt_calc.php it will be 'in' around 10mm, I want to see if it looks ok.

Also if anyone has any comments on fouling suspension/arches that would be great.
