If the caliper has been sticking for a while you may now have tapered pads and when you refit these pads onto the now free moving caliper the taper on the pads can distort how the caliper sits on the main pin enough for it to bind.

I find the drive over gauge is excellent and the results are surprisingly repeatable.

Although expensive the Genuine toyota gasket is about the best there is for a standard fitment.
I have always re-used the old bolts and have never had a problem with them.

At £80 Magnecors are still a cheap alternative compared to £112 or so for OEM leads. However, Mark had a set of Magnecors years ago that fell apart. They are not as good quality as OEM leads which will last 15 years or so easily. When it comes to ignition components OEM is best. That's good advice....

They are ok in the snow until the centre ridge of snow / ice builds up high enough to hit the front then you are knackered
