Re: [Mk2] [NA] Standard tyre choices: GoodYear, Toyo, whatabout Falken?
Falkens don't last. I have some FK542's in 245/35/17 on mine and they're worn out already. #-o I've put a good 10,000 miles on a used set of FK452's and they still have plenty of tread, well less so on the rears than the fronts but i've been impressed with the wear rate. I don't drive like a nutter...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rattling knocking noise driving me insane
as mentioned droplinks or top mounts would be the most likely suspects but bushes wear out too, worn arb bushes can cause a knocking for instance i find a good way to indentify knocking suspension is too jack the car up and place a lever under each wheel in turn moving the suspension up and down, s...

[Mk2] [Generic] Rattling knocking noise driving me insane
Hi Peeps I've got this strange rattle/knock noise coming from the front (I think, it's very hard to detirmine where realy) that seems to coencide with driving over rough roads and also coming to a stop. I had a check underneath the car and everything looks fine, front suspension doesnt seem to have ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] D2 brake kits
the wolfkatz front callipers are OEM (from something) 4 pot monoblock road units so yup fully dust shielded. Can't imagine what shipping to UK would be like which is a shame as I followed the build thread and was quite interested in buying a set :pale: Yeah I wouldnt be suprised if it works out to ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] D2 brake kits
Do they have dust seals for road use? Also why not D2, any particular reason? T Mainly the way they pretty much ripped off the D2 Vodaphone logo that sponsors DTM. Also i'm pretty sure that their coilovers are just rebadged K-Sport ones. Which when tested on a shock dyno came out with very inconsis...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] D2 brake kits
I wouldnt touch the D2 or K-Sport stuff with a bargepole. If I was looking for big brake kits i'd go with this http://www.wolfkatz.com/proddetail.php?prod=B_Stage_II_Brake_Kit Or the global-z kit which you need a set of skyline (or supra I dunno) calipers and allows you to also fit a bigger rear dis...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Quick, Dump valve help need :D
Doesnt your car have a Power FC fitted? If it does that means its running off a map sensor, meaning you dont have an afm and you wont need to do a rev3 conversion or it's already been done. Either that or you have an AP Engineering PFC which reads off the standard rev2 map sensor or allows you to us...

Btw where were you looking to buy the fidanza from? I saw them for sale on fensport, but shipping one from jap actually worked out cheaper and I wanted to be jdm yo so I thought i'd risk it.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Coilover Suspension
The Koni's are awesome on the MR2, and the Eibach springs are an excellent choice, whatever dampers you have, but the Koni inserts will only fit <94 rebuildable struts, which are getting fewer, and as you rightly say, Bilstein have discontinued the yellows so getting them is now hard :( Dan www.DCD...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Coilover Suspension
I have cusco's on mine. Any coilovers will give much improved and sharper handling but at the cost of ride comfort and occasional skipping over bumpy roads. It's nice to have the option of adjusting the height though. If I was to choose I'd go for a matched shock/spring combo with 30mm drop for roa...

Bad luck mate that sucks.
Would realy suck to break such a nice car, surely you should get a nice price for it. Or at least maybe turn it to stock?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Help, thinking of buying a Rev3
TT has sod all steering feel compared to the two, it just feels so vauge in comparison. It's probably easier to drive being front wheel drive 90% of the time but man give me RWD any day over the TT's Front drive biased setup.

really, that lovely white turbo got wasted??? the one with the power FC, stock body? Yea, apparently he sold it for like £100 or something rediculous because he only had 3rd party insurance. Didn't even take the pfc out either. #-o As for this guy, go get your overheating problem sorted sta...

no the 300zx would take alot of modification to fit in as there alot wider than the standard pop ups, the beast flush mounts where custom made and fit perfect and theres even a "how to" on his web site! sadly my DIY metal fabrication skills are somewhat lacking lol http://www.mr2beast.com...
