Should I Cut It? (Dual gauge pod)
I've been wanting to get rid of one of the 60mm gauge pods on my A-Pillar as currently I've got a twin but for multiple reasons just want a single.
My only problem is it's an Mr2eddie original so fits like a glove and I feel it would be sacrilege.
What should I do???

Re: Mambatek actuator with Greddy.
Yup, you need a line from turbo port to new actuator with solenoid spliced in.
You also need to blank off the old vac line from the manifold.

I presume they are uk MOT compliant.
I'll take them

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev 3 ecu from rev 1
It's probably at this late stage in the MR2's life not worth trying to upgrade to a Rev3 ecu.
You will need a MAF sensor, loom, ecu but I forget the exact things now. It's not an easy swap and you will gain little from it.
Sorry

Re: any tubbys for sale
I think there is a white one on uk auto trader for £12k but it's not stock. I regularly search for Turbos and in the last 2 years I've only seen 3 (inc the one mentioned above) and all have been modified. The truth is people just aren't importing these cars anymore.. Good luck with the hunt and let ...

Re: Turbo Advice
If you can find a 20 on eBay or a break then buy it and send for a refurb.
Failing that, personally [which is what I will be doing] I would send My 26 to be given the hybrid treatment.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] The Exhaust Thread
I had a modified Dep 2 Pro on my turbo and it was the best sounding exhaust I've had on a 2 out of Blue flame Mongoose Berk I only took it off as I wanted to return the car to stock OEM+ style so kept the berk gen2 down pipe and cleaned and painted up the stock box. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCtTz...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Intercooler pipe help.
What I was thinking is buy the hot pipe and elbows kit and cut out the stock BOV and replace with your silicone T piece and bailey BOV.

I presume you can hear the turbo spooling up and you have boost?
My REV 2 has a thin metal gasket between the throttle body and intake manifold, it sure what the rev3+ has.
