That's what I'm trying to factor in, would be easier selling and buying a different exhaust. I don't fancy my welding skills on it haha.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Another Exhaust question - Flow Vs Noise

Nic, that looks like a good option, did you have a dyno run before/after?

I was thinking the same thing Gaz, I remember Tony telling me about it, wonder how they'll measure it at snett.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Another Exhaust question - Flow Vs Noise

Cheers Gaz! I reckon it'll pass the static, as reports are around 103/4db static with the bung, my bung is from an Evo nur spec so I think the bung is slightly longer than the one for the 2. I'm just weighing up the options, I'd really like the HKS but also concerned on flow as the pipe diameter is ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Another Exhaust question - Flow Vs Noise

Hi guys, I'm currently running a decatted 95 rev 3 turbo with a Nur Spec, and like all owners of the Nur.. Neighbours are getting miffed and I'll be tracking the car soon, so noise limits need cutting. I've already got a bung for it but you can feel the increased backpressure, I'm also concerned wit...

No they're 40mm, just progressive rather than rock solid. Checked on Demon Tweeks site earlier, got a set over the weekend!

Re: eblag coil overs

These are absolutely awful. Same as TA Technix. They do not have independent height adjustment, so the only way to adjust them is to excessively preload the spring. The more preload you add, the worse they'll be. Build quality will be xxxx as well. Tein S Tech springs actually have a lower spring r...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] What length drop links for 30mm drop?

Guys I've just found this when browsing the net and I'm having similar issues with my rear ARB hitting the chassis, obviously causing some some of knock.

Cars sitting on 40mm PI springs.

Longer droplinks to combat this?

Re: MR2 Mk2 Specialists lancashire

current Bk racing alloys are on cheapo plastic spigot rings so may well be. I seem to remember someone on here saying that plastic spigot rings were alright, but i wouldnt be at all surprised if your right. Think I am! I need to change mine, but the plastic ones are crap. Get a decent set of Alloy ...

Checked your spigot rings in your alloys? Mine does this and it's down to the cheap plastic spigots..

Re: Booooooost

I bought a rev2 to start with, moving onto a rev3. Learnt everything with it and it never let me down.

I've nothing against them as that's exactly what I did with my first mk2 turbo! :)

Re: How bad does this look compared to other mk2s

Mine was the same! We found a breaker at a yard and cut the arches/sill out to repair mine with, worked well and was solid. Literally cut the arch completely out and re-welded a new one in there. Took some work but was worth it. Unfortunately if you feel its too much then it's your choice, but depen...
