Just found oil in my filler cap.... not happy! Just recently had a new front rad and water pump, which was 2 lots of flushing of coolant and new coolant. /curious why filter relocation? Was for easier change and able to get better reading from oil temps as not much heat soak as an adapter plate. But i later removed this and its back to its original position now, after reading a thread about extra pressure on the oil pump from increased fluid, so bin...

Indeed. Just need to find a cowl for cheap, if im any good at it i might start attacking some other bits of my MR2

Don't use compressed air it damages the elements allowing more crap to get into the intake.
Just gently attack the filter with a brush to remove large dirt, then soak them in the proper cleaning agents like the K+N stuff, and re-oil them up.

heya! yea still got it, been off the road for well over a year, as i got into the marines but failed 4 weeks before i was due to get my green lid

ahh sorry my spal fan has been removed from the engine, i meant the front fans to pull more air into my pre-rad for my CC, duno if it would make much difference though to inlet temps, probably not

I'd suggest giving it a good flushing with all that in there stick new thermostat in there and give it another compression test after putting fresh coolant in, but im no mechanic.. thats just what i'd do

Yea i got power steering, not sure what sensor you mean in the frunk but the fans don't run permanently they actually hardly ever come on...

Yea air con system was completely gutted out by the previous owner, guess it can just stay there.... does it effect the fans at all, if you know?

Rite.. just been reading http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=154774 And its made me think about my fans... i've just had a Radtech Racing Cooling Rad to replace my leaking rad, and im not sure if they have put a place for the fan sensor to go, there seems to be some black sensor just attach...

Had the caliper's off and they we're sliding freely, handbrake seems to be ok though now, magicly fixed it maybe.
