Re: CLOSED - Aeroware front lip (polyurethane)

Great news! Where abouts in the country are you? If you are local I might come and pick mine up when they are ready, if that was okay with you? If not how much is UK postage likely to be or do we need to arrange courier to collect?

Hi Peter, if you still have these available I would like a set of rears for a rev1 standards ARB, am I right in thinking 17mm? I can measure the bar tomorrow if there's and possibility it might be different. PM me a price and payment details and I'll do it straight away.

Re: jap import insurance

As with previous replies, your age, postcode, driving history will have a massive influence on your premium. As far as customer service goes, I had a great experience with AIB insurance in recent weeks, a competitive quote but Darren there is just great (in contrast to sky, who used to be great but ...

Re: important middle of the job

Never had the rear bumper off, took the front off once, never again!!!

It's not difficult technically, it just takes ages and there are a million screws and fixings, some of which will have rusted away and won't come off without cutting (ones attaching under trays).

Re: Winding In Rear Calliper Pistons

One of these makes life easier if they are a but stiff. It's an annual job on mine greasing the calipers. Only trouble is I can never find this in my tool box and have just bought a third one in as many years. Much cheaper than some of the elaborate contraptions which do the same thing. http://www.e...

I haven't got the part number any more but it's the sort of thing only available from Toyota. They were about £20.

Re: Central Locking

It's more than likely the switch on the back of the lock cylinder. Replacements are about £20. I did mine recently, a bit of a fiddly job but not difficult. A word of warning though, if it locks but then decides not to unlock with the central locking, the immobiliser and alarm won't disarm. The swit...

The badge is slightly curved to fit the boot lid. There's no recess, just two locating holes.

[Mk2] [Generic] Avensis droplink part numbers and price

Okay so I knew they wouldn't be cheap but I wasn't expecting £74.86 each!!!

I didn't even ask if that was incl VAT but I suspect not. For any of those who wish to use these with their Tien Coilovers the part number is 48820-47010.
